February travels

Once again, I have a daunting task ahead of me...trying to catch up on the past couple months of blogs. I have only myself to blame for being so far behind (and maybe the stomach flu that hit our family...TWICE in a month and a half). So, I need to rewind the clock and give you a quick overview of the life and times of Brooks Edwin over the past couple of months. Here we go...

In February, Brooks and I flew to Kansas to spend the week with family and to meet Miss Linley Owen, Jana's little girl. Then, that following weekend, we drove down to Oklahoma to celebrate my niece and nephews birthdays. Adam flew in and we spent a long weekend together with the family. It was so great to see them...we miss them so much everyday. We were also very excited that we got to see Madison over the course of the trip. She is becoming a beautiful yound lady! I was lucky enough to enjoy a mani/pedi with her...girl time! Adam's grandparents drove in from Missouri to spend the day with us in Kansas. We were so happy to see them! However, they come in and spoil the dickens out of our baby...and then they get to go home and don't have to deal with the aftermath. Is that fair? ha ha It usually takes me about a week to get Brooks to realize that he isn't going to be held every single moment of the day! But, of course, it is all worth it. All in all, it was so great to come home and see everyone!!! We miss you all terribly and cherish these memories...
